What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I hold a class of up to 8 students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in person by world renown baby photographers, in addition to having taken courses myself, in beginner and advanced photography many years ago.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It's $300 for a 2 day class, one week apart. Each week it's 2 hours long. There is homework after the first week, a take home booklet is provided, as well as a private FB group for ongoing support long after the course has ended.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to share my knowledge so others could enjoy photography and get the most out of their DSLR cameras.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 12 and up, men, women, mothers, fathers, budding photographers, hobbiest, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I won first place in Best of the Best in the Southcoast for Photography for the 5th year in a row.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that your camera is a DSLR or mirrorless. This class is not for point and shoot cameras.
