I have of 50 years of graphic design, illustration, painting and art direction experience. I have established numerous in-house design studios and have mentored, trained and directed a wide array of talent including designers, artists and photographers.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer a small group because it is much more efficient. My basic course includes an introduction to materials, methods, techniques, tools and visual observation.
This is followed by hands-on practice by the student with coaching and direction.
The course can be as simple as 3 hours or can take place over a longer period of time depending on the students involved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
3.5 years of art school and 41.5 years of actual experience.
