About
We are a student and parent-centered learning environment. We start with YOUR objectives and goals and craft a strategy to help you reach those goals. Music is hard work but it should also be FUN and the investment pays dividends for life!
I enjoy seeing students thrive in their learning and I especially enjoy those "aha" moments that lead to breakthroughs and seeing the enjoyment and confidence that those moments bring to the lives of my students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It begins first with a free consultation to assess the goals and objectives of the student and their family (when applicable) and to make sure I'm the best fit to help them achieve those goals.
Once we decide to move forward together, I will map out a recommended lesson plan structure with an estimated scope and sequence of expected progress and we will typically begin working together the following week. Specific materials may be recommended and this allows time to acquire the lesson materials so we can hit the ground running on day one!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in vocal performance and minored in piano accompaniment and have a Master's degree in orchestral conducting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The investment will depend largely on the goals and objectives of the student and wil depend on how much custom materials are needed (if any).
However, generally, most 30-minute lessons range from $150-$175 per month (paid monthly on the 1st of the month—starting months will be prorated if beginning during the middle of the month).
45-minute lessons generally will range from $175-$200/mo.
How did you get started teaching?
Education has always been a passion of mine and has been so beneficial to my own life as I have had the opportunity to have amazing musical and life mentors. I began teaching piano and voice lessons while going through college and have been teaching ever since.
Also, having a fully-functioning recording studio as part of my amenities gives students an extra benefit by being able to have lasting media of their performances and hard work, and in many cases, I can help with distribution to the major music platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginning voice, piano and music production students all the way through advanced levels of training.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having served as the Executive Director and Conductor of the North Atlanta Christmas Festival.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First, be clear about your goals and why you wish to study music in the first place. There are no wrong answers, but being able to be clear on what is important to you will keep you focused and ensure that you're able to gauge your progress toward your goals.
Second, make sure your teacher has expertise in the areas that you want to study. A teacher/leader can only lead you to places they have actually been, so make sure that it's a place you really want to go!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do you want to study music?
Why is it important to you?
What excites you the most about achieving musical proficiency?
Are there areas of concern you have about beginning or continuing study in your chosen field?
