About
Solid education (School of the Worcester Art Museum) and more than 40 years of expeirience in a variety of artistic venues. I have been teaching watercolor for 25 years and have a long list of satisfied students. I take beginners as well as expeirienced painters.
I love sharing my knowledge and skills and whatching my students grow. I have many students who have gone on to college for an art degree as well as multiple students who have become professional artists.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I go over basics; color theory, technique and composition; to see where the strengths and weaknesses of each student lie. We will discuss what types of things you like to paint and what your goals are. An individual instruction plan is set up based on the things you want to learn and things needing improvement. A color chart is one of the first things I will ask you to do. This is a tool you will use every time you choose colors for a painting. You will also get a 30 page instruction booklet I have put together over my 25 years of teaching.
