About
Hi there! My name is Brieana and I'm a professional artist, graphic designer, and photographer from central MA! I'm always available by email [email protected] - Drop a line!
I've been a working artist for over 10 years. My passion for the arts has been lifelong, and between experience creating and experience working, it's time for me to share what I've learned!
I'm new to lessons.com but I've been a private tutor for all my talents for about 5 years now. My work has been appreciated and purchased globally, so rather than go on about it in text, I'll let my work speak for itself :)
You can find me on Instagram @notadamncheese and facebook.com/notadamncheese
Lastly - Why is my business named Not a Damn Cheese? Because I don't like being called Brie. Brie is a cheese, I am Brieana. That's all!
I love making people not only look good, but feel good from the pictures I've taken of them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I interview the student (or if a minor, their guardianship) to find out what their skill level, goals, and future plans are with the knowledge I have to offer. I'm sure to be thorough and note their learning style and potential obstacles to custom fit a lesson plan to them to ensure they walk away with an elevated skillset.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with my HS diploma I received a certificate in Graphic Communications, and went on to receive an AA in Graphic Design. Since then I have been on a board for a local art center, a private tutor, worked in a studio and for a small photography company, and currently freelance my multiple talents along with selling original art pieces locally and globally through numerous online pay2print stores.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system is $100 a head for groups (minimum of 3 students) or $250 for one on one lessons. I always write and plan out my lessons as 4.5-5 hour "day courses", However, I am always open to working out a pricing plan for students seeking multi-session in-depth longterm lessons!
How did you get started teaching?
When I started volunteering at the local art center (where I eventually became a board member) I had access and the green light to begin teaching classes there, and so I did. When the art center closed down, I kept going as a private tutor because I find a lot of joy and fulfillment from helping someone grow their skills in areas I'm super passionate about!
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone from young children up to adults, special needs and neurotypical: I can work with anyone!
