Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Watching their skill set and seeing what basics need to improve first, then moving on progressively and shaping their game on the type of player they would like to be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played basketball since 8 years old year-round, made all-state senior year, went to state semi-finals, played at St. Thomas More Prep and participated in the national championship, and went on to play at SNHU making it to the NCAA D2 Elite 8. Have trained my youngest brother and cousins his age girls and boys who are all looking to play college basketball at all levels.
How did you get started teaching?
Younger siblings and cousins always asking what I do to get better and what my focus always was growing up which made me wake up and realize I can give back to youth who need guidance and support to make it to the next level while giving them advice on what's to come.
What types of students have you worked with?
All positions of ages 12+ Guards and Forwards
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always be coachable and open minded to ideas and concepts take what pieces you think would work best for your game and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Its what you do when no one is watching that takes you to the next level.
