Experience
I've been teaching photography for 30 years and still do! Traditional film based work and digital photography and photojournalism. I freelance when not teaching and have been exhibited and published widely throught the years.
My undergrad studies were in history and art. Later, I went to photography school and majored in editorial photography. I was asked to teach at a university in Boston and have been doing so all along. People say I'm good at it!

I love teaching others photography and opening up the possibilities for them whether making fine art or photographing for a different purpose such as news photography, photojournalism, landscape, portrait, or still life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ask what they want to learn, look at the photos they have in their interest area, assess their photo equipment and immediatley start on improvment making photos to learn by doing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a photography school graduate and teach photography to college students.
