What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have an intake process of having the student sit down and fill out a questionnaire. I also have them stand up and give me a one minute presentation on the subject of their choice. I videotape it and then we are able to dissect it and I give them positive feedback. From there we take it to where the student wants to improve on their public speaking skills and techniques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional public speaker for over 25 years. I run my own communications production company. And have been highly successful in my field.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing system is based on how much time the student wants to dedicates to a specific topic, and how in-depth they want to get to perfect their speaking skills. It also varies if they want private lessons, or are willing to retire in a group setting.
How did you get started teaching?
I noticed that the more I was used as a public speaker and or presenter I would have students or attendees come up to me and ask for advice and or tips. That’s the main reason I decided to start teaching because it was something that I was passionate about and I love seeing my students and clients Florish and come out of their shell.
