Music instruction provides people with the tools to use music to heal, to laugh, to celebrate, to cry...it's an artistic expereince that can improve any circumstance.
My favorite thing in the whole world is working with people and listening to what they have to say. I want to help people find their best and most authentic voice!
I believe the best way to start learning about singing is to begin by learning how to sing music that you truly enjoy. If I were your teacher, I'd ask you what you like to listen to and what you are interested in learning how to sing. Should you not know where to start, I'd be happy to find something/direct you towards something that'll pique your interest. We'll do everything by ear in the beginning - me demonstrating and you echoing. Both vocal technique and music reading skills can easily be enforced through any kind of music!
