I have many certificates in the health and fitness industry. I am a personal trainer through NASM. I also have my group exercise certification, POUND certification, Yoga certification, and I have my bachelors degree in Dance. I use a mix of Pilates, Strength, Resistance, Barre, Cardio, flexibility and yoga in my training. I love to work with people and help them reach their goals. I believe fully that exercise should be fun and something to look forward to, not a chore. I believe in using the breath as a way to focus the body, I believe that energy should always be reaching out to help the body work! 

My favorite thing about work is seeing people reach their goals one at a time. I love seeing the light go on as they find the correct muscles and learn how to use them. I love hearing the stories they tell me about what they could accomplish on the weekends because of their work out. It is a wonderful thing to be a part of!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I always find out what the student’s Experience with yoga is first. Then I start slow correcting form an alignment and working on breath. Always starting first with sun salutations  and moving on from that point to more difficult poses


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelors in fine arts concentration dance. I am also certified 200 hour yoga teacher training. I am certified for a group exercise, Pound and as a personal trainer.

lessons start at $80 and go from there.


How did you get started teaching?

I have always taught dance. After having my second baby I have a lot of complications. I started to move again with Yoga and decided eventually to get certified. With the help of my sister in support of other teachers at my gym I went on to certify in group exercise pound and as a personal trainer. This way I could really help others. 


What types of students have you worked with?

My students have ranged in age from 4-80. I have worked with people who couldn’t get on the floor or lift their arms overhead. I have worked with healthy students who just needed more!
