I have been teaching ESL (English as a second language) for 30 years and love it! It's rewarding to see my students improve their language skills as time goes by. As an ESL teacher I've met and worked with people of all walks of life and have learned so much from their culture. This allows me to have a better understanding of their needs and so forth.
I love meting new people and helping them achieve their goals!

I don’t know if I understand this question correctly or not🤣
Well, English makes me become more curious and adventurous. I love making friends and I love having a conversation by using English, it makes me feel like I can overcome loads of difficulties by myself. Especially when you’re traveling along. (As long as English is still the main language in the world.)

The best teacher ever. I am not exaggerating at all. I have been trying to learn english since I was kid, it became my nightmare until I met this guy. Funniest teacher ever. I was his student when I was 31 years old. It is not easy to learn a new language when you are little bit older :) but George helped me alot. I appreciate him so much.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I use what is known as the Communicative Approach which allows the student to begin communicating from day one.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in English and Portuguese with a minor in Literature.

I charge $35 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
While I was living in Brazil (1989 to 1998) I began teaching friends and fell in love with it.
