Math & English Tutoring
About
Hello,
I have been a mentor for almost 4 years.
I have started mentoring since I was in high school. I was the president of the Math Club. My job was to help the middle school and high school students for which math was a challenge.
Furthermore, I am now a college student graduating for Information Technology major. In my first semester in vollege, I became a coach mentor in Robotic Team. Then, in my second year of college, I started to mentor the college students in Math and English and I still do so.
When I first started school, there was nothing more challenging to me than succeding in every subject. I wanted to be the best in my school. I wanted to be successful and being an ambitious person taught me how to be a better version of myself.
I used to struggle a lot in Math and I never thought I could really understand it. However, through others I was able to overcome those struggles. And now, just like they made me succeed, I want to make others as well succeed. I enjoy helping people and when they are able to challenge themselves and understand what they couldn't, there's nothing that can make me happier.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Creating and maintaining a good rapport with the student is one of the main parts of the process. Creating the confidence that through my tutoring and my help the student will be able to succeed is really important to me. I ask from the student to make a detailed description of the current situation and all of his struggles and challenges and what is one's desired result. Next, we come up with a set of goals that the student wants to achieve and implement a plan of action in order to accomplish the said results.
