I am an artist and photographer by training and believe great photos can be had without the fanciest equipment or total technical knowledge. I would like to impart my love for photography or painting in my teaching.
Not only do I love artwork, I also love connecting with people. One of my previoius jobs was as a counselor of students, so I have great regard for the important responsibility of being a teacher. I'm easy to talk to, and I am a great listener. Let's connect!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out where a student is in the process and what more specifically he/she wants to be able to do. I try to taylor the lessons to the particular student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a long-time student of both painting and photography, and now submit to and get into many shows. I was also a counselor of college students for 25 years.
