About
I have over 10 years experience teaching art and I really focus on creating a unique lesson that is customized for the individual I am working with! I want my sessions to be educational as well as relaxing and stress relieving. Come paint and draw with me and feel the positive impact art can have on your life!
Art has been a valuable tool that I've used to help others tell their stories, express themselves, and learn new art techniques all the while doing it...and I LOVE that.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk with the student(s) and get to know their goals and expectations. I want to pay attention to their needs so I can teach accordingly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an art teacher and have a degree in art education and masters degree in art administration.
How did you get started teaching?
Loved teaching and helping others since I was in middle school! Went on to get my degree in art education and continued growing my skills ever since!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals ages 5-85. From teaching school ages kids to painting with adults in group painting sessions, I have work with everyone!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You want someone who understands how to simplify techniques. Many artists know how to make great art, but it's important to know how to break down the steps and teach them to another individual.
