About

Josh Beetler is a full-time musician and guitar teacher that helps clients overcome their musical frustrations and challenges to become the guitar players they’ve always wanted to be no matter what skill level or age. Josh started playing guitar at the age of 12 and quickly fell in love with the instrument.

He was self-taught for 5 years before finding Chet Kruly, an 80 year old jazz legend who quickly showed Josh what he needed to massively excel on the guitar. He then studied at UMass Lowell in Music Performance under Jon Wheatley, another jazz legend and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. While at school he played in bands and ensembles of all styles including rock, jazz, pop, top 40, metal, funk, and bluegrass.

He began teaching guitar at the age of 20 and has been a full-time musician since. He has taught over 10,000 guitar lessons and helped many guitar students reach the next level in their guitar playing whether it was learning to sing and play, write their own music, learn their favorite songs, jam with others, or become a highly skilled lead guitarist.

    Joshs lessons provided me with the knowledge and skill that I have been searching for years for. In the intro lesson, we went over my current understanding of guitar as well as discussed goals that I was looking to achieve. With this knowledge, Josh was able to tailor my lessons to my specific goals, challenging me to improve while not overwhelming me with too much. Shortly after beginning lessons, I saw rapid improvements in both my musical understanding as well as my proficiency on the instrument. I am not joking when I say I learned more in the free intro lesson than I did in the previous year of playing on my own. I am extremely confident in the process that Josh has created for me and his investment in my musical knowledge. I feel that every week I learn something new and get better at playing.     I recommend taking advantage of the FREE intro lesson. You are able to meet Josh and understand expectations. Josh is a phenomenal player and MORE IMPORTANTLY an Incredible TEACHER.
    I am concerned with measurable RESULTS and thats why I have been a student for 2+ years.
    My playing has improved in all areas: technique, ear training, theory, song writing etc.
    The better guitar player I become the more satisfying and fun it is to play with confidence.
