Studio Ampersand is an educational company that services the Boston Metrowest and Rhode Island through one-on-one and group tutoring for all grade levels in all academic subjects as well as test prep. Our focus is on purposeful practice and building student's confidence. We aim to match tutors based on best fit and all of our tutors have 3-15 years of tutoring experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every new student will receive an initial consultation where they will sit down with a tutor and go over goals and expectations for the program. The information gathered at the initial consultation will be used to create a personalized program for the student. Our programs offer flexible scheduling and customizable programs. You are welcome to schedule a meet and greet with the tutor before starting to ensure best fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All tutors have Bachelors degrees as well as many years of tutoring experience in their respective topics.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have a base rate for all tutoring, but we do offer sliding scale discounts and financial assistance.
What types of students have you worked with?
SAT, ACT, AP, SSAT, ISEE, and general academic prep for all grade levels and subjects. Our tutors also have experience working with students with learning differences.
