About
Hello! My name is Aimará. I'm a Cuban-Brazilian singer, pianist and clarinetist residing currently in Lynn, MA.
I am passionate about Art and Music. I initially studied Classical Music in La Havana until High School. Then I moved to Brazil. From there I continued my studies in clarinet and piano and graduated in Music, Pedagogy and Music Therapy.
There I became a singer, a composer and a performer. I have also worked as a Music Teacher for more than 20 years in the academic field.
I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
I sing Cuban music like Son, Boleros and since I also resided in Brazil for many years I have acquired a wide array of Latin American songs in my repertoire: Latin jazz, Brazilian Bossa Nova, etc. I sing also R&B and Blues.

My classes are for all ages and all levels (from beginner to advanced). I adapt to the needs of each person and the goals they want to achieve.
My programs are varied but very complete, so that the student learns to read, write, and play/sing music.
I teach music theory, harmony, and technique.
Work in individual or group classes.
I teach musical initiation classes for children between 3 and 5 years old and music therapy for people with special needs.
