About

I have been in love with the National Pasttime since I was old enough to walk, and am more in love with it today than ever. Some of my most formative years were playing in high school under Coach Jeff Trout (Mike Trout's father), where I learned to focus on mechanics and fundamentals. Now as a father and youth coach, I love helping kids unlock their potential by identifying mechanical flaws and giving them drills to fix them. My favorite thing to do is video analysis of swings and pitching mechanics. I can receive video by email and send back detailed, annotated analysis along with recommended fixes.

As a coach of a youth travel team, I have extensive experience in and a true passion for training younger (10-15) players who are looking to put in the work to elevate or polish their game. While I enjoy working with players of any age, I especially gain a lot of satisfaction watching younger players develop.

Frequently asked questions

If you are local to the Annapolis area, I can work with you in person, after we set up an appointment over email.

If you are anywhere in the world, you can email me a short video clip of your player swinging or delivering a pitch (preferably facing the player's front), and I'll email back a full, annotated, voiced analysis, typically 8-12 minutes long.

Video analysis is $10 per video, $5 for the first video. The first in-person session is free, and then $30/half hour, $50/hour.
