About
I'm a musician, composer, and sound designer who was been playing and composing music for 15 years. I studied at Berklee College of Music for my Bachelor's of Music, where I regularly performed on trumpet, composed music for various forms of media, and designed audio and audio technologies. I worked as both composer and sound designer for films and games, in a variety of musical and audio styles. While I always strive to teach my students musical competency, my main pursuit is always to foster a fulfilling sense of artistry and musical voice.
Besides classes and creative projects at Berklee, I also gave jazz, theory, and trumpet lessons to students of various ages (elementary to high school). In these lessons, I tried to apply flexible lesson plans in reaction to students' learning styles, musical sensibilities, and general musical interests. I think individualizing lessons both grows a sense of artistic expression unique to the student, while also keeping the act of music itself fulfilling and engaging.
Finally, I would like to say thank you for your consideration and for the opportunity to grow as a musician and educator. Assisting others in expressing artistic messages and truths is incredibly important to me. Thus, I am extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to foster other musicians’ love of music.
