About
I have been teaching dance for 19 years and yoga for 17 years. I have my own performance dance and circus arts fusion company in Baltimore, Md that has been successful for 12 years. I train dancers, do the choreography and direct shows. I have a degree in theater and dance from JMU. I love many kinds of dance, acrobatics and movement so I can teach several styles and fitness classes.
I love inspiring my students and watching them grow and progress. It is the most satisfying feeling knowing I helped a student gain confidence and get strong and healthy.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ballet, pointe, modern and jazz training at The Russell School of Ballet and performed in their pre-professional ballet company The Fairfax Ballet till I was 18 years old. I continued to study dance in college with a focus on contemporary dance at JMU. After college I danced professionally and taught dance at many studios in the DC area and then Baltimore City. I direct a contemporary dance and circus arts fusion company. We do partner and solo acrobatics, aerials, contortion, fire dance, flow arts and many styles of dance: contemporary, jazz, hip hop, world dance and breaking. I also perform burlesque. Now I have my own dance studio where I teach and reherse. I love teaching private lessons to all ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private lessons are $55 an hour for dance/yoga/acrobatic training. For personal training I charge $75 per hour. I do give price breaks for students that want to do more than one class. I would rather teach the students ongoing so they can make more progress. I have a sliding scale for people who are in need.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at 18 after leaving my ballet studio summer before college. I taught ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop.
I decided to get certified in yoga at age 20 during the Summer of my sophomore year in college. What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds of students from creative movement with 2-3 and 3-5 yr olds, to young children, teens and adults.
