Best Baseball Training
About
I provide baseball training and baseball skills development for the up and coming youth baseball player. I work with kids as young 8 up to high school players. Depending on what your needs are I work on nearly every facet of the game except pitching. I'm a former high school and Div. 1 college player that focuses on the physical and mental side of the game. If your current instructor isn't talking about the mental side of the game or giving you tools to develop on your own without your instructor your wasting money.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson assess skill level and cater training sessions according to my opinion of skill level moving forward. Next step gauge progress based on feedback from parent or player. Video of game footage will be requested sometimes. Occasionally I will attempt to see your player in an actual game if time allows. I need to know that training is converting to results for your athlete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played the game at the Div.I level both at JuCo and 4yr college. My resume is long and extensive but i've played with and against some of the best players of my era. I know I'm qualified to teach your athlete the necessary skills to have longevity in this game.

How did you get started teaching?
I started coaching at the high school level. I than started coaching youth baseball when my son played youth ball. I took a break from coaching and now that he is in high school. I started doing private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids with zero skill level and kids with a high skill level. Every child I worked with has either gone on to play with high level travel teams or make their high school teams. No college success stories yet.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
It's awesome when parents tag you on a message on Facebook thanking you for being an integral part of their child making the high school team. That's why I do what I do.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
With baseball it's not only the physical side or the mechanics, you must address the mental side of the game.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your end goal with the game or with this training.
