Millennials for Sustainability, based in Baltimore, MD, is a Black-led, community-centered organization founded in 2016. Through its training arm, MFS Safety Training Services, the organization delivers nationally recognized CPR, First Aid, AED, Basic Life Support, Professional Rescuer, and Wilderness First Aid certifications for individuals, youth, and workplaces. Courses meet workplace and OSHA-related requirements and are taught by experienced instructors using a hands-on approach. Offerings include youth certifications (ages 11–19), monthly virtual classes paired with scheduled in-person skills sessions, on-site corporate training and compliance support, group training discounts, and a workplace partnership program with scheduling, renewal reminders, and certification tracking. The team prioritizes access for youth and underserved communities by providing affordable and sponsored training. Service areas include Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Training revenue supports the organization’s broader mission to build sustainable, self-reliant communities through eco-village development, food security efforts, and environmental education, reflecting its values of stewardship and human-centered care. Founded by Baltimore native Sunni Reign, Millennials for Sustainability connects emergency preparedness with sustainability to strengthen community safety and resilience.
