Learning Mathematics disciplines the mind. Like anything involving the mind, it's normal to feel math anxiety at times. I look out for this in my students. I do not push or rush through the steps to the answer for a problem. The studying is in the steps. That's not the time for a teacher to rush. If the teacher rushes the process to the point that math anxiety arises this is a serious problem within itself. The student may now begin to feel lost. Eventually, us human get tired, weary, sleepy and shut down. That's not what math is all about. Math is fun when it is taught and studied correctly. It frees up your mind and make sense.
