I love sharing the magic of art with my students. It is fun and a lot of times we end up joking around alot because art is often very relaxing and freeing. It is always exciting to see the progress that my students are making And to see the new projects and ideas that they bring in and turn into an artwork.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will do a quick assessment of what they know and what they need to learn. I will ask them about their past art education and find out what their goals are. I will then tailor their lessons to fill in the gaps of what they need to learn in order to reach their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied at numerous art Colleges and Schools including the Maryland Institute College of Art the Shuler School of Art. Towson State University Madison College and master landscape artists Scott Christensen Kevin McPherson And Tony couch. I am trained and all of the traditional painting mediums and drawing. I can do most of the traditional subjects. With all of this I am able to teach students what I have learned and have done so since 1995.
