I have an MFA from the Md. Inst. College of Art in painting. I've been teaching painting along with drawing at CCBC for now 19 years. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am a hands-on teacher I demonstrate everything first before and explain everything to my students before they start painting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started studying academic painting at the age of 10. I have an MFA from one of the country's top painting programs.

The price is what the tuition at CCBC.
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a T. A. in a graduate show and then I worked as an adjunct at several schools for many years until I got my full-time position.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've had all types of students from the beginner to the advanced graduate student.
