What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assess your needs and we discuss a plan.
For example how many lesson are needed, what supplies and processes will we be using.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in visual art. I have been teaching for 22 years.

I charge approximately $25.00 for a group lesson and $35.00 for an individual lesson.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always created art and pursued a career as a professional artist. After being in business, I became the middle school art teacher at Maryvale Preparatory school in 2000. I later became the head of the fine arts department there, where I taught high school and middle school art.
I was the head of the Fine Arts department. There I taught Digital Media, Studio Art, drawing, painting,2 D and 3 D design

I have worked with students as young as 6 to adult.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently started a jewelry making workshop I call BeadSocial. I led a wonderful group of ladies in a private home on a recent Saturday. The group create artistic jewelry that I have designed. Guests were very excited to be able to leave with two pieces of custom jewelry with fine materials for a very reasonable price!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone with experience in the the specific area that you want to learn. Ask specific questions that relate to your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Students need to determine the scope of their endeavor. Is it a long term need or just a workshop?
Is the instructor really qualified to meet your needs. Who is providing the tools and supplies?
