Hi I'm Tara Hope. I've been in business as a wedding, portrait and freelance photographer since 2006. I've traveled to Puerto Rico, New York and beyond to capture some Amazing shots! I have a keen eye for detail, a respect for artistic vision and a passion for seeing and utilizing light to it's best. I'm fun and creative and most importantly, I'm VERY easy to work with and love teaching my craft. I can't wait to hopefully teach you how to use your camera, so that you can start photographing to your full potential. Let's get off of auto and start using your camera the way it's meant to be used for some amazing shots!
I love the creative process and enjoy almost every angle of my business. From shooting, to styling, to editing, to teaching. I love teaching others how to: use their cameras in manual mode (the way it's made to be used), find the right light and how to edit amazing images!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Shoot me an email or give me a ring and we'll go from there. I can travel to you or you can come to my studio for lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two BFA's. A photography degree from Savannah College of Art and Design + a Graphic Design degree from Stevenson University. I have over 20 years of education and experience in the art field. I've owned and operated a freelance photography/design business for the past 13+ years.
