Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first begin working with a client, I ask them to help me better serve them by identifying the goal, purpose, or intention for the class. I like to get some clarity as to their current physical abilities, in addition to any injuries. Equally important is answering any questions or addressing any concerns they may have.
In every class, I remind students to please honor their bodies by knowing the difference between physical discomfort that may come from challenging themselves versus pain stemming from injury.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
See bio for certifications and degrees.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Negotiable depending on number of people, private or corporate setting.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone from young children to seniors citizens! And I've taught everywhere from the studio setting to homeless shelters, and everything in between. My goal is to make yoga and fitness accessible to all people.
