About
Fran Art is the result of years of practice (18) and studying. I studied Art and Art education in Chile, my country. Art is my passion and love, and that's what I will transmit to my students. I have teach children and adults. Right now I am a member of Montgomery Artists Association and Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery.

Art is a world language, is a connection with other people, the world and your own. Specially in difficult times is healing and enriches the soul.
I enjoy seeing my students process and getting the most out of their creativity and talent.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will have a meeting with the student to know what are his/her goals and level. From there we will work on a personalized program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Techniques I can teach:
Drawing, Watercolor, Collage, Printing, Acrylics,

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing will depend of the technique the student wants to learn and how often the student needs classes.
How did you get started teaching?
I started after I finished my Bachelors in Visual Arts and Art Education year 2005.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have work with children ages 3-13 and adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have participated at Wheaton's Art Parade Gallery (non-profit) for 3 years. The main purpose of the Gallery is bringing Art to the community in affordable ways.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be ashamed or insecure about your Art skills. There is infinite techniques and forms of doing Art.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should have an idea of what they want to learn and what will they expect from the class.

Would I like to learn realistic Art or more abstract?
