What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A huge part of the process of creating is learning to let go of the self-criticism, doubt, and insecurity that often discourage art making. The first steps would be to learn mark making and the process of letting go fear.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an art degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
My early career was in fashion art direction. I worked for major department stores and brands creating magazine, newspaper and catalogue advertising.
I have created and sold my artwork in the D.C area since 1992. I currently work out of my home creating and selling my artwork online.
I have been successful selling my work on social media and can teach others how to sell their work online.
