PDL takes a movement based approach when working with our athletes no matter what age. Having spent 4+ years in the minor leagues and then transitioning into a full time strength & conditioning coach Coach Dan Mahoney has developed an eye for seeing flaws in movement patterns and the ability to get to the root cause of the issue.
The focus for all of our athletes is to create efficient movement patterns that transfer to any position on the field. This begins with an initial assessment of the athletes movement capacity followed by a throwing analysis. These give both the coach and the athlete a starting point from which to base everything off of.
Whether it is a arm path, timing, or overall capacity issue we program all of our throwing programs around the needs of the individual athlete to ensure that they are given the tools they need to succeed.
