About
As an immigrant from Russia trained in classical techniques, I bring a rigorous but approachable method to art lessons. I help my students feel confident about their skills and grow into their potential as amateur or professional artists.
I enjoy seeing my students make progress as they create artworks and discover their artistic talents.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At the start, I ask what a student is looking to get out of lessons, whether it's fun, personal enrichment, professional development, academic growth, etc.
If the student has previously studied art, I invite them to share anything they would like about their past experience - whether they would like to build on it or go in a different direction. If the student is newer to art, we start with a more basic introduction to the techniques that we will be working on, in accordance with the student's areas of interest.
Based on this initial discussion, I help the student design a program for lessons at my studio.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor degree in Art from St. Petersburg Art Lyceum at St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, Russia. Masters degree in Art from St. Petersburg Theatre Academy.
Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach.
