About
As a certified visual arts teacher of grades pre-K through college level, and privately, I have taught in private school, college, and the public school. I have practiced as an art therapist as well. Forty five years of professional experiences have aforwarded me opportunities to work with all ages, all abilities, disabilities, and more. Presently I am still certified with an active licensure. I now teach in college. With the coronavirus situation, I have successfully taught online as well as in a private studio or home setting. Before the pandemic, I also taught internationally in China, South America, and Central America.
I am a painter (acrylics, watercolors, oil, multi- media) as well as a ceramicist and print maker. I have had incredible success helping all of my students with their accomplishments! Visual arts is as a tool for relaxation, cognitive perception and empowerment. I am looking forward to working with you. You will enjoy and learn from my talents and teaching experiences.
The work is exciting and fun, and opens creativity, challenges, perceptions and confidence for the student. Teaching and assisting the learner is always a passion for me as I can observe the progress along with them.
