About this pro

I am "An old-school photographer in the digital age."

We will work together to expand your photographic vision, to enhance your photography skills, and to realize your photography ambitions. I teach photography basics, basic camera operation, digital camera operation, the Zone System, digital photography, advanced photography, Adobe Photoshop, and printing. I work in Microsoft Windows and Mac-based environments.

I have worked professionally as a photographer and master printer for 40+ years. Clients have included Alcoa, CBS, Ford Motor Company, Gulf Oil, KDKA, Mellon Bank, PNC Bank, Toyota, United States Steel (USS), and Westinghouse. I worked as a photojournalist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Press. I have been a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) since 1999 and can teach you how to optimize your Windows-based computer for applications such as Adobe Photoshop. For the last 8 years, I have been working in commercial and fine art photography. I am currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Carroll Community College and have previously taught at Loyola University and Geneva College.
