Matt Gottshalk Photography
About
I take an interactive approach to teaching photography and tailor each lesson to the student. Besides going over photography essentials, we will go over the post production process in lightroom/photoshop and other programs.
Whether it’s motion pictures or still images, Matt Gottshalk has always had an affinity for all things visual. From the moment when his father handed down his Brownie camera, Matt became enamored with capturing moments in time.
He turned his early interest into a successful vocation, working as an award-winning director of photography and video editor for the past 30 years. Having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Matt brings a Marine’s steadfast discipline to his photography. Whether it’s getting up at 0-dark-30 to beat the sunrise or wading into a flowing river, Matt goes the extra mile to make viewers feel like they are right there with him when they look at his photos.
