About
I have coached football, baseball, basketball, softball and soccer for boys and girls for over 25 years. I grew up in Montgomery County and played football and baseball for Gonzaga College High School. I have four children and a grandchild so I understand various child and parent needs in raising mentally and physically healthy children.
Working with young people is a rewarding experience for me. What's most enjoyable is watching young athletes grow and develop over time into mature young men and women, as well as skilled athletes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All students are uniquely different so I take an approach of letting them tell me about themselves and what their successes and needs are currently so I can address some specific and overall basic fundamentals they may lack or need improvement and encourage them to develop and progress to the next level.

Coach Marco Calderon
How did you get started teaching?
My son, now 12, has inspired me to share my skill and experience.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with boys and girls of all ages from 6 to 18 over many years. Including football, baseball, soccer and softball and basketball.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Having a "one-on-one" coach is a superior method to learning anything. I connect with young athletes to give them the confidence they need to be a better athlete. This will translate to other areas of life. Schoolwork, friendships and work ethics.
