About
Trombone Lessons:
I tailor my approach to fit individual student's goals while building a strong, fundamental approach to the instrument.
I'm an active professional performer with experience in all styles of music at venues such as the Kennedy Center and the White House. This is combined with 40 years of teaching experience.
I will challenge you to find your weak spots and turn them into strengths. Your impediments will fall away so you can focus on the music!
You will learn how to teach yourself which is critical for lifelong learning in any area.
Our lessons will be engaging and fun!
I enjoy the process of building technical and musical skills through the accomplishment of small, obtainable goals.
I also enjoy the opportunity to adjust teaching methods to individual students based on their learning styles.
Teaching is a creative art that challenges me to become a better educator, musician and person!

How did you get started teaching?
I had a studio of 40 students while working my way through college at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have continued to teach throughout my performing career.
