Hello and nice to see you here! I am doing my Doctorate in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan School of Music on full scholarship, while serving as a Graduate Student Instructor teaching private lessons, group lessons, and doing piano accompanying.
I have gathered valuable teaching experiences through the past 9 years teaching students of all levels (beginner to very advanced) and ages (4-year-old to adult) since my undergraduate.

I have a strong passion for teaching, love to share music with my students, and constantly teaching and inspiring them to be the very best they can be!
Xiaoya is such a devoted and passionate teacher, a wonderful person who is so kind and caring! She is admired and respected - a teacher who brings your playing to the highest level that you can be!
I would assess the student's current level of playing and then design my teaching for him/her. I would also need to know the student's personality to make sure our work is pleasant and always productive.
