Hello and nice to see you here! I am doing my Doctorate in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan School of Music on full scholarship, while serving as a Graduate Student Instructor teaching private lessons, group lessons, and doing piano accompanying.
I have gathered valuable teaching experiences through the past 9 years teaching students of all levels (beginner to very advanced) and ages (4-year-old to adult) since my undergraduate.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would assess the student's current level of playing and then design my teaching for him/her. I would also need to know the student's personality to make sure our work is pleasant and always productive.

Any question relates to the piano and classical music, any concern about piano learning, pursing piano as a future career, and all music-related questions are always welcome!
