Elena Song

Hello My name is Elena and I’ve played the violin for more than 12 years. I was born and raised in Denver and I started playing the violin when I was in grade 3 and have fallen in love with it since. I played all throughout elementary, middle school, high school, and still in college at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I was a member of Denver Young Artists Orchestra (DYAO), one of the best youth orchestras in Colorado and through DYAO, I’ve had the privilege of performing with the Piano Guys at Red Rocks and embark and perform at countless beautiful venues for a European Inaugural tour to Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava, and Prague. Back in Colorado, I qualified for All State Orchestra, one of the premiere orchestral programs in the state, for all the years I auditioned for it. I have a taste of solo work too, when I was the soloist for Inside the Orchestra, an orchestra group that performs for schools all around the inner city in which a unique feature of their performance is that the audience enjoys the show quite literally inside the orchestra.
