Animal's Music Lessons
About
It's important to me that my students understand HOW to play, not just WHAT to play. I teach basic music theory so that my students can learn to play any song by EAR. I also teach techniques and tricks that I have mastered over the course of my 38-year career.
I love music and sharing my knowledge with beginners and new friends. I'm always on the lookout for my next prodigy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by evaluating each student's skill level to determine if they should be started with learning their fretboard or some more advanced skill.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing guitar professionally for 38 years. I have a significant understanding of music theory, arrangement, and composition. I was able to use these skills to teach myself to play bass guitar, drums, percussion, violin, and intermediate piano. In addition, I have undergone vocal training of my own.

They should think about if they are serious about learning to play their instrument or if they just want to learn a favorite song.
