What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When it comes to CPL Students, I assess their comfort level then act accordingly. Handling firearms can be very intimidating so I do my best to make new shooters comfotable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm certified through the Us Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) as a Training Counselor, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Instructor, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor, Countering The Mass Shooter Instructor, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Instructor and a Range Safety Officer (RSO). I was previously a Firearms Instructor with the Michigan Dept. of Corrections.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes, the cost for my Concealed Carry Class is $100 plus range fees (gun rental, lane rental, targets, eye/ear protection)

Private Concealed Carry Class $200 plus range fees (gun rental, lane rental, targets, eye/ear protection)

All other one-on-one training is $60/hr range fees (gun rental, lane rental, targets, eye/ear protection)

How did you get started teaching?

When I was in Corrections I was a member of the Emergency Response Team and was selected to become a Firearms Instructor and fell in love with teaching.

What types of students have you worked with?

All kinds from beginners who've never even touched a firearm to seasoned students who are simply renewing their certification.
