Classical Painting Lessons

I offer lessons and training that are true foundations to sound painting. Developing a solid foundation is paramount to any medium and style. My specialization is representational painting with oil paint. I have over 6 years of full-time classical training from both The Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy and the Ravenswood Atelier in Chicago. The former is considered the pinnacle instituion for classical training in the world.

My prices are set at $30 per hour. Hours-per-session are to be determined by myself and the student. I encourage students to come to my studio in Corktown, Detroit for lessons for the reason of already having an optimally outfited space that is set up for training. I'm open to travelling to the student in some situations but don't recomend it mostly part for practical reasons.

Representational painting is the outlet for me that enables myself to express what I need to and in the most beautiful craft in all of the creative forms. It is truly liberating to paint how you want to and is only attainable through proper training, of which I've learned and which I want to pass on.
