Dileonte's Violin Studio
About
I meet every student where they are in their musical journey. I teach musicians to feel their music and really become the music. Every musician will not be into classical music so I like to understand what type of music inspires each student so that I can know how to teach them in a way that they would understand it.
Music is my life! There's nothing else in this world that I would rather be doing than music. Even during my darkest moments in life music was always there to lift me up. It is very rewarding to see someone enjoy the music that I play. It just makes me want to grind harder and never stop.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet the student where they are, and see first if they have an ear for music. That is very important because one has to know how to decipher between notes with their ear first. If one is tone deaf it is nearly impossible to move forward in learning music 🎶
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
First I would like to mention that I come from a musical family, where most of my family sings and or plays an instrument. So I was basically born into this. My musical influences are gospel, r&b, jazz, classical, hip Hop. By the time I was in high school I learned how to read music after joining the concert choir. By the 11th grade it then evolved into me experimenting with musical instruments. The first instrument on my list was violin because I loved the way it sounds in some of my favorite music including Motown classics. Unfortunately my high school did not have a string program, so I taught myself how to play the violin, applying all of the fundamental knowledge that I learned while taking concert choir. I have about 2 years into my undergrad music education degree. I plan to finish soon.
I have several celebrity credits on my resume including Aretha Franklin, Aaron Neville, Tank, Latoya Luckett, Damien Escobar and Big Sean
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 per lesson. I prefer to meet with my student once a week. I charge by the month so $160 would be due when you sign up.
