What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First off I like to get a background of my customer with how much experience they have with photography or editing. After that I will find out what they are looking to accomplish and either meet with them in person or video call to go over matierial and also send them multiple training guides and tips related to what they need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

18 years of photography from weddings and newborns to landscapes and storm chasing

Bachelor Degree from EMU

Photgrpaher / instructor for Magna Seating

Private courses for the last 10 years

Oakland CC and Schoolcraft college for photgraphy and design.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing ranges anywhere from $75 per session up to $300 per session depending on content. However we also will work with you to make your budget work and create custom packages as well!

How did you get started teaching?

I have been doing photography for 18+ years and have my own business, and with photography I cannot get enough of it in one day, I am always looking for more and there is always more to learn everyday, so I decided to share my vast knowledge to help others who want to get into this amazing field. After teaching a few in the beginning I loved it and wouldn't change anything.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types, from beginner photographers and ones who know nothing at all about photography and also those who have been doing it for a long time and are looking for a refresher or new thing to learn.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What am I looking to get out of this?

Specific glossary terms related to photography if they do not know the meaning of them.

Specific settings for your camera that you might not know what they are used for.
