A Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University in Jazz Studies and a Masters in Music from Wayne State University

How did you get started teaching?
My first lesson was teaching saxophone to a friends little brother.
What types of students have you worked with?
Though I have worked with students between the ages of 9-17 I am willing to teach students of any age.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are specifically looking for knowledge in jazz music take as many lessons as you can with multiple musicians because it gives a many avenues of thought that you can form into your own style or opinions on the music.
