About
I've been teaching guitar and bass lessons in the Detroit area since 1992. I can teach all styles from country to grind core metal. I work mainly out of Music Maker Studios in Shelby Twp.
I've been fortunate enough to have studies jazz with Scott Peterson and classical guitar with Lee Dymant while in collage along with several music theory and piano classes. I also played in top tier marching bands and concert band all through my jr high and high school years.
I've of course played in many local bands over the years (mostly hard rock) until I was about 30 then started playing daytime/morning sports more than night time music gigs.
I've always loved music and I get just as much joy sharing it as I do playing it. It allows me to do what I love to do at a job that I love doing. It really is a dream job and I'm very thankful and fortunate that I've been so lucky to have this for my career.
