Wellness is a blessing and truly do not think there is anything more fulfilling and rewarding than a healthful lifestyle. I have helped hundreds of people at this point acheive all types of unique goals. However, the constant is all of my clients feel better. Not just the sedentary ones who are beginning to move again. I have many clients who have trained for years and even decades who attest there is something about the methods I apply that are different and it all begins with a movement philosophy. I teach people to move well again and the pain and discomfort eventually falls away. Knowing I am helping people feel better keeps me engaged!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It starts off with a complimentary evaluation. The goal is to provide a great deal of information that the participant can take with them regardless of whether or not he/she/or they purchase a package.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Robert is an accredited trainer holding 24 nationally accredited certifications including NASM together with a graduate level education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We typically charge the market rate for sessions as explained by lessons.com. The standard 1-to-1 rate is $64 per 50-55 minute session. However, we have well-qualified trainers who offer a spectrum of options to fit any budget. Quality and experience matters, so while we do not go back and forth on pricing we are willing to be flexible for those people who we feel are serious and committed to the process. Again, complimentary assessments are at no cost with no pressure!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a teacher of sorts! I love to learn and sharing what I discover comes naturally. Information has always been about practicality for me. How do I use this information to benefit myself and others! To be more direct... I was in a sales career that was flourishing monetarily but I simply did not enjoy what I was doing. I loved working out and thought the fitness club enviornment would atleast be more fulfilling. After quickly being promoted to a General Manager of a high-performing fitness club I found myself in a similar situation as before, but making less money. I decided to switch to training and have been doing it consistently for the last fifteen years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Robert has worked with Kids, highschoolers, adults, professional atheletes for basketball, baseball, football, hocky, tennis, olympic athletes, figure skaters, Ironmen, and many other types of athletes. Robet has services more then 13,000 individual sessions from ages 7-70.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I would say it's more of a condition! Working with Pick Up USA allows me to work with some talented children. I appreciate kids and being able to contribute to their positive development is very rewarding. The feedback I have been receiving is amazing from both the kids and thier parents.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
"Trainers" are everywhere, but experience matters and it's not just about time in this line of work or certification/credentials. My assessments are designed to demonstrate what 3 decades of study and application in wellness is about! Look for someone who is a student of movement and respects the elegance of the human vehicle which is our body. One should be able to explain and demonstrate these principles clearly both verbally and during the session.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Have I clearly defined my motives and expectations?
2. Am I committed to my goals?
3. Am I ready to make the lifestyle changes necessary to see results?
4. What is the single thing I have not been willing to do up to this point that has held me back from moving forward?
