I have been painting for 15 years. I have my Bachelor's degree in fine arts and a minor in art history, but painting has always been more of my passion.
I try to make each lesson unique by being thorough in our subject matter while taking into consideration the client's interests. I enjoy spreading my love for art by teaching techniques to improve on individual skills while letting our creativity flow.
I cover a wide variety of painting, color theory, landscapes, portraits, still life's, abstract art & collage, and even building your own canvas. Each client gets to chose what they would prefer to learn more about based on their skills and interests.
Painting is such a relaxing and rewarding activity. I find that people feel a sense of accomplishment (myself included) when creating something from nothing. Painting also helps with creative problem solving, stress relief and keeps the mind sharp. It can be a fun activity to master, as well as a therapeutic form of expression. I enjoy helping others find their creative voice.

My process with a new client is quite simple. We discuss what their expectations are of me, what they are really interested in, and why they want to learn how to paint. From there, we proceed to focus on basic skills first, then move on to the subjects the client would like to focus on.
I have a Bachelor's degree in fine arts with a minor in art history. And I've been painting for over 15 years.
I charge $20 for a half hour lesson and $30 for a full hour. Prices may change for group rates and for anyone who wants multiple lessons a week.
I've worked with all ages of students from toddlers to seniors.
