I love watching my players getting better. My favorite is when I see their self esteem and confidence sky rocket and they inturn perform at their highest level! Having fun is a huge part of this!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Doing the basics. Playing catch, grounders, outfield, hitting at first practice to see where I notice opportunities for development.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-12 years coaching experience at multiple levels. T-Ball to High School.
-Current Royal Oak Freshman Baseball coach.
-Current Assistant coach of 11U Bloomfield Sting
-- Current Assistant coach of 3 up 3 down.

How did you get started teaching?
I started coaching as soon as I stopped playing in 1997 because I couldn't imagine myself not being on the ball field in the summer. I thought I did it for a "Love of the Game" but soon realized how much I was getting out of simply working with the kids. I worked in a long term treatment unit at a juvenile justice facility for over 13 years
