Happy Kiddos

Happy Kiddos is a pediatric therapist-led program based in Sterling Heights, MI, offering supportive classes for babies and their caregivers. Founded by a pediatric occupational therapist, the program features a six-week parent-and-baby series focused on play, infant development, motor milestones, tummy time, sensory processing, bonding and attachment, stretching, songs, and caregiver-child activities. It also provides specialized education to help parents safely transition their babies to solid foods using the baby-led weaning (BLW) approach.

Families can choose Mommy & Me options such as Tummy Timers (for ages 6 weeks to 6 months) and Crawlers & Cruisers (for ages 7 to 13 months), available as drop-in sessions or scheduled courses. A 3-hour CPR + Intro to Solids class combines CPR training with an overview of BLW. Sessions are offered in Sterling Heights and Lenox, MI. A pediatric speech-language pathologist is joining the team to help teach classes, adding expertise in communication and feeding development.

Happy Kiddos addresses a community need by pairing small-group support with individualized guidance, helping caregivers build knowledge and confidence to support their child’s development during the first year and beyond.
